The government of India has recently launched a discussion on the Preparation of an Action Plan and a Document of Vision India@2047. An Action Plan and a document related to the Social Sector which includes the Education Sector are to be prepared after brainstorming with the various stakeholders which inter-alia include Research Institutions, Universities, Domain experts etc. There can be several interdisciplinary issues which include Global Value Chains, Leveraging Industry 4.0, Climate change, R&D, Human Capital Development, Governance etc. for Higher Education some key issues that have been identified for brainstorming and ideation include Future Education, Future Skills, Gender Equality, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Employment Issues etc.
